🤝 Affiliation with Sindhi Federation of South India (SFOSI)

Sindhi Panchayat, Visakhapatnam is a proud and active member of the Sindhi Federation of South India, working together to preserve Sindhi culture, language, and unity across the southern states of India.

The Federation conducts periodic meetings and distributes awards for accomplishments of the members of the Sindhi Community across the Southern States of India. Sindhi Panchayat, Visakhapatnam is a proud member of the Federation, which was recognized for the prestigious SINDHU RATNA award a few number of times. The SINDHU RATNA awardees from Visakhapatnam are: Pritam N Chaturani, Bhojraj Menghraj Jhurani, Manulal Lokramdas Menda, Satyanand Alakram Kukreja, Mohanlal Menghraj Jhurani, Deepaklal C Idnani (2016), Prem Bhagwandas Mirpuri (2019), and recently Bannalal Mohanlal Jhurani (for 2025).

Our Sindhu Ratna Awardee, Manulal Lokramdas Menda was also elected as the President of SFOSI for a term during 2019.

The Federation also encourages and recognises children-students for their meritorious accomplishments in the field of education, sports etc under the caption "SHINING STARS". SFOSI also extends loans for education to meritorious and deserving children of the Sindhi members.
